About Me

I wrote my first poem after Tom passed away. Tom and I had been married 18 years. Tom passed away unexpectedly.

We wanted his service to be special, just like he was. I tried to create a poem with our own personal memories of him to share with loved ones at his service. Even though I was so distraught, all the words fell into place  easily, as if a higher power was guiding my hand. Tom had a great sense of humor, and there were so many things about him that made him special. I was surprised at my own ability at that time, and so grateful that I could do this for him. This is Tom’s Poem.

Since that time I have written several poems for friends, friends of friends and family, by special request. Sometimes even just the silliest idea makes a great poem!! I want to share my gift and give everyone something memorable and personal to enjoy throughout their years, and their loved ones to enjoy beyond that!!
